SCHOOL PICTURE DAYS

A big thank you to the P.S. 154 parents, Abby Palanca, and the team of PTA members that assisted in this year’s successful socially distanced photo shoots! They made it a fun experience for the kids! There will be updates shortly about your photos of your children.

We would like to recognize Abby Palanca’s contribution to the school she herself attended. Not only has she been PTA President, but she has also been organizing and managing School Picture Day since her children first started at the school. Her younger son, Michael is due to graduate from 5th grade this year.

COMMUNITY CORNER

SEL OPTIONS

There are a number of options available for social and emotional learning. For remote and hybrid learners, much of what they learn is modeled on behavior of those around them. At challenging times, we can teach them about resilience and growth mindset. See the article from Aha Parenting: How To Raise A Happy Child

The Talk – Sex Ed 2.O - our friends and neighbors at P.S. 321 are hosting a sex education virtual talk to advise parents on how to talk to their children about issues around puberty, sexuality, gender identity and more. If you are interested in attending, please register to receive the Zoom link at PS321.org.
